  • Grow microgreens such as mustard, cress, or basil for quick harvests.
  • Keep herbs like parsley, coriander, and thyme near bright windows.
  • Force bulbs such as hyacinths or paperwhites for winter scent.
  • Pick the last of your stored root vegetables before frost gets deeper.
